Bunny Lines
Horizontal lines that appear either side of the upper nose are often referred to as ‘bunny lines’ because they look like whiskers. Initially, these lines appear more prominent when scrunching the nose to laugh or smile but, over time, they can stay put when the face is relaxed.
Bunny lines are the result of muscle overuse but they can also appear as a result of poorly administered anti-wrinkle injections in the brow, especially around the glabella (the “eleven” lines between your eyebrows). If the brow has been over-relaxed, the nasalis muscle at the upper part of the nose starts to compensate when the patient frowns, creating bunny lines.
The treatment options will be discussed at your consultation.
