Tear Trough Filler (Party Eyes)

An effective treatment for patients who struggle with hollow, sunken eyes or dark circles. This non-invasive procedure restores lost volume in the the crease between the lower eyelid and upper cheek and  disguises signs of fatigue. The contour of the lid-cheek junction is rejuvenated, creating greater facial harmony and an altogether fresher appearance.

After applying a topical anaesthetic, dermal fillers containing glutathione, amino acids and antioxidants are injected into the tear trough using a cannula. This technique reduces the likelihood of bruising, minimises downtime and is considerably safer than using a needle. The skin that surrounds the eyes is particularly thin so this procedure requires a great deal of expertise and precision. An in-depth consultation sometimes reveals that a small amount of filler on the cheek may also be needed to disguise the tear trough.

The treatment takes 45 minutes and can last up to two years, depending on the amount of filler that is used and how quickly the patient’s body metabolises hyaluronic acid. IT may be necessary to treat the cheeks first for a better outcome. This will de discussed at consultation.
