Silhouette Soft® Thread Lift

What is It? 

A unique rejuvenation treatment that repositions sagging tissue of the face and neck with small, reabsorbable sutures. At the Taktouk Clinic, we use Silhouette Soft® Thread Lift, the most sophisticated threading system on the market. This particular treatment can sometimes be combined with Ellanse to stimulate the skin’s collagen beforehand. In addition to lifting and tightening, patients can expect smoother, more toned skin, as well as defined contours. The results are immediately visible after the procedure and improve over subsequent weeks.

How does it work?

Dr Pamela Benito weaves next-generation poly-lactic acid threads along the contours of the face, cheeks, lower jaw and eyebrows to create an immediate lift. The threads we use are the most advanced on the market; they are barely visible, painless, and have a ​​bi-directional cone technology which makes them robust and secure. It’s also worth noting that these threads accelerate the production of collagen when they are eventually reabsorbed.

How long does it last? 

Performed under local anaesthetic, this minimally invasive procedure takes 60-90 minutes, is virtually pain-free and has very little downtime. Some patients may notice bruising, redness or slight swelling, which lasts for up to 48 hours after the procedure.
